It's probably not the MC....the Spec clutches are known to need to be shimmed, when installing the new slave. Man, you must be really good at tearing out the TT by now.

It has a stock clutch with A stock master and a stock slave when the problem first started , then I put a new spec. 3+ clutch with a new master and a new slave. The problem didn't go again so I added a tick master on it. The problem was still there so I took out the spec clutch and bought a new replacement c5 z06 clutch with a new gm slave and gm master. The problem continued so I figured I would give the tick a chance.
GM tolerances can vary from the back of the crank, block, both sides of the bell housing, torque tube and slave cylinder...did you take any measurements with clutch installed to see if yours are all off in the wrong direction causing issues?

while we wait for his reply what's the general advice with your clutch kits? i bought a level 1 c5 direct fit kit and they mentioned no shims were required and no shims came in the box

haven't installed yet, probably will over winter
99% of the time they work without a shim, but in a vette being that it is such an extensive process to swap a clutch I always recommend measuring to prevent having to tear it back apart as there are rare cases where one is needed.
Update guys!! I kept on adjusting the tick further and further until it let me shift at high rpms. I did the rev test and had it adjusted so it didn't creep forwards but that wasn't enough. I adjusted it further and now I'm enjoying the car again! The peddal still feels a little goofy at high rpms but it's disengaging and engaging correctly. Thanks for all the help and support! Thanks!
