Nicely done!

C5's have such a clean, sleek look without them.

Funny how looks are subjective, I intentionally looked for a C5 with the BSM> looks good either way!!

Nice work. I wouldn't mess with the halo. I like the black glass top to break up the red, but your ride is clean. I just love the glass top, one of my favorite features on Corvette's.

OP, you are getting a lot done with the ride, congrats! Lookin great! Do what you want with your car. What wheels are you putting on? I would say if your wheels are black and you are tinting your windows then the black Halo is a no brainer. But ultimately you should make her look however you want. Seems like you may have mentioned CCW's?

If you listened to what people say they wouldn't do with their cars you'd still have BSM's...

Here is Jeremy Johnson's gorgeous Red C5 with a black halo. Perfect.

I love the look of his car period but when it comes to aesthetics. This mod doesn't require you to do "another" mod to help even it out.. i.e. I added flared quarter panels on the rear so then I needed to do something to the front to help even out a bit. It was either a chin spoiler in front or a aftermarket hood. I went with the hood but black on a red C5 when done right looks fantastic!

Here is one more pic for reference as to what a little change does to the look. It's not a coupe but I know you like to look at pics right now to chew on ideas so.

Rear bumper not halo but looks hawt

Thanks for your posts/picts everyone....I do appreciate it

I have bought CCW 505a wheels in 18x18 and 19x11..They go on this week.

Will keep the car all red at this stage...but will keep an open mind regarding the future. I might run black wheels at some point with the view of swapping the CCWs out if Im off on an epic cruise...

Nothing flash, but its tidy. Braided radiator hoses, chrome oil catch can, Vararam and Elite radiator screen to go on this week. Hood seal was a nice addition...

I also fitted the Cool It fan relay and Fang rail covers...

Russ, you have a nice car with some cool mods planned.

I visited your country back in 1971. Auckland was one of our liberty ports aboard the USS Edson (DD-946).

These work GREAT for removing the adhesive tape on cars. Doesnt leave a mark on the paint and requires no elbow grease.

Thanks You should come down this way again some time, it would have changed a lot...I would have been 3 back in 71

I visited your country in 1999 and 2000 but intend coming back over sometime in 2014.
