Yes, Exports have tow hooks factory fitted...the front one comes out of the lh side fog light opening (if youre standing in front of the car), closer to the front license plate, and the rear is attached to where people fit the exhaust plate...

post#1 shows the front hook
post #34 shows the rear hook

Why didn't they put the tow hooks on all C5s? Is there a factory part that can be installed??

Im not sure...Theyre actually a great thing....and they give it a race car element as well...I only wish I'd of noticed prior to me buying an exhaust plate and fog screens..

They would be a great thing to have. It would eliminate the worry about a tow truck driver hooking it up wrong to pull it up a ramp truck.

We have trucks that the back drops down to road level so you can just push the car on...You guys must have something like that?

Many export cars are fitted with hooks or loops front and rear in order to be tied down during shipping. I'm guessing that is the reason for the Corvette hooks too.

Sure, but you never know where, when or what type of truck will be available when you break down. Most ramp trucks use a winch to pull the car up. A factory hook would have been a great option.
