And it is still one of the best looking C5's out there. I admire and appreciate how you take care of it.

Today is 16 years since I first brought the corvette home. ordered it sept 97 and took delivery jan 5 1998. I have had lots of fun with this car. Doing mods to it, meeting new people, learning things on this forum. I know a lot of people do not think the early cars are very good cars, But since I took ownership of the car it has bin a very good car. I very much enjoy being part of the corvette family and hope to be for a long time

Congrats on the anniversary! You were one of our "pioneers" in ordering one of the first C5's. '97 is a relatively low-volume production year so yours is an even more rare specimen.

Yes I would do it again with these cars. The quality control on the early cars was very high, That is why it took almost 4 months to get my car. It is a 98 so it is not a first year car. there were not a lot of cars built before mine. My out of pocket money is next to nothing for repairs. It really has bin a great car, knock on wood !!
