This is my car. Vertical Doors borrowed my C5 and gave me their first ZLR door kit for my time. My girlfriend at the time thought it would be cool, and I figured, why not? My 'Vette was a daily driver for a couple years and I will tell you that it made opening the doors a bit challenging in crowded parking lots, and you have to roll the windows down to get out which is no fun in the rain (though I have the mod to roll them back up with three clicks of the lock button). I can tell you it gets a lot of attention by the general public. The auto enthusiast community may not like it, but the A&A supercharger kit I've since installed usually shuts up most of the haters. People like to talk trash at the drag strips until I clock low 12's in the 1/4. As far as daily reliability goes, at some point you're probably going to have to replace the door wiring harness, since it bends in directions and kinks in ways it was never made to, and wrapped it pretty solid. Ultimately, haters gonna hate, but if you don't care and don't mind the aforementioned issues, then it's your car and your money. Have fun either way.

Sounds like it's not worth the hassle from your experience. And there are many stock cars that can do better than low 12's out of the box, some high 10's.
Does make the car look like a flying bird when the doors are open though.

I'm well aware that some cars are much faster than my 14 year-old 'Vette, but it's a small enough percentage to keep me happy and fewer of them still were made in/by 2002. Point being that it's not just built to look pretty (subject to individual taste).
Love the doors...wondering how much will I be paying in Just Labor?..

I have to say, as for all of the lambo doors I've seen, I like those the best.

That's a good question. Vertical Doors installed mine for me about 3-4 years ago. You'd probably have to find a car shop that does that sort of thing and get quotes.
The wiring going through the A pillar into the door is known to have issues, adding more strain on them is asking for trouble.
Thats good to no......I sure would like to do the work myself..No time, and dont have a good place to work on it..So will Pay to have it done..Sounds like LAMBO IS THE BEST..sure hope so...Thanks...
