Forget Invos for wheelspin. I have 325s, and they're like ice skates. I'm shopping for tires, too, but I need 19s for rear only, and this really limits my choices. I have 640RWHP, but every time I hit about 4k rpms, it's skate time below about 80 mph.

Also look at the Conti DWs in a 255/295 combo or even the 275 for the front (I went that way and will be going back to the 255/17s for a better balance.

Exactly; the INVO is not a good performance tire and there are better tires for the price. If I was running 325/30-19s out back and I needed more traction than Pilot Super Sports would give me, but wanted to avoid using drag radials, I'd run R888s on all corners, unless you have the budget for Pilot Sport Cup 2s.

Would I use them on a track? No. Would I do an autocross? Probably not.

But if we're talking daily driver and you want to save some cash to use for other things, the RE760 will do just fine.

Last I checked Bridgestone was into racing...sooooooo...

And their golfballs aren't too shabby either...
Agreed. I have the RE760s on mine, and when I had headers, tune (386 WHP), I had no issues with traction in 1st and 2nd gear (assuming the temps were 60-70+). Sure it would spin briefly in 1st, but was certainly predictable and controllable.

I now have 640 WHP, with the RE760s, and will definitely need to get a new tire come spring time.

The tires I ordered from Discount tire last week are in and will be replacing the original F1's on my 04Z06 today. Nitto NT05 in the 275/295 combo. Pictures and feedback soon.

I switched from NT01 to NT05 a year ago, much better on the street since it can handle rain better.

Anxious to hear about them. I'm thinking about this too!

They look great. The front does not look much different than the Goodyear F1 in terms of 275 vs OEM 265. The Nitt0 275 vs the Goodyear OEM 265 is only about .17 wider. After only a short ride I noticed the difference right away. But than again they did replace 10 year old F1's. Will post pictures this weekend and more feedback to come.
