Runflat Tires

I wish Frank lived close to me. I'd let him drive my car with Hankook non RF's so he could see the MAJOR difference in daily driving vs. his RF's. You don't have to take it to the track to feel the difference. Just drive it down any street, any condition, and turn off the radio so you can hear and feel what the rest of us are saying.
If you do a search on our forum you'll see that there have been tons of posts on RF's versus non RF's. I've never read a single post from anyone who tried the non RF's and said they'd never do that again and they were going to go back to the RF's.
There have been thousands of posts, however, on people who made the switch and are thrilled that they did. People who have made the switch have a reason they call their old tires "run craps".

All that having been said, if we were close friends, I would not hesitate to let you know that going to 18/19 wheels, Hotchkis Sways, and Michelin PSS non-run flats was the best mod I made to our C5 Vert. Dramatic improvements in ride quality, handling, road noise and cornering ability.
These simple mods transformed our C5 from a semi-sports car into a full blown sports car. The difference was simply huge and nothing could ever tempt me to change it back to the stock wheels, tires, and sways. Now, if such improvements don't ring your bell, that's certainly OK. We are all different.

And, FWIW, we also have a Cadillac CTS V with mag ride, 580 HP, and non-run flat PS2 Michelins and it handles much better than our C5. Won't ever be putting run flats on the V either.
