Sure, but you're lucky, black Corvettes don't get the attention that Torch Red Corvettes do.

I don't exceed the speed limit but I get attention and glares from LEOs all the time. They seem frustrated that I am NOT exceeding the speed limit.

Only once, but that's a whole different story, and not truely "profiled".

But face it, it's kind of like walking around dressed like Elton John. You're gonna be noticed, kinda goes with the territory.

Driving a Corvette is like wearing a "hoodie" on the street. Most people drive Vettes to get noticed... you will!

Where I live, the area is so thick with pricey exotics that the cops treat C5s like Civics.
Whether that's a bug or a feature is left as an exercise for the reader.

I been driving with an expired tag on my car for a while, and the other day a police cruiser pulls up beside me (ive been pulled over and let off twice by this point) , and he motions me to roll down my window, thinking I know whats coming I say " The sticker ........right?" he says "No...... just wanted to say that I LOVE your car" I said thanks and gave him the thumbs up, he gave me one back, and we went on our way.

So far ive had nothing but good experiences with police in my corvette, but yes its definitely a car they are going to notice

I was 3rd in a line of slow driving cars leaving the gate one day, got picked out by Security Forces. Douche explains that, "I know your can do blah blah and blah but you need to slow down". We were doing 25mph. Guy tried making me look bad in front of the Vice Wing Commander who was basically in my pocket, total douche. Other than that no, I had the cruise set on 80 in a 75 and got stuck passing/getting passed by some asshat who'd never heard of cruise control. We rolled up on a cop in the median and he came out cherries blazing. . . right past me and pulled over said asshat who hates cruise control. 1 small win for me.

Been driving Corvettes since I was 22, I am now 55, only time I was stopped was for speeding in my 78 Silver Anniversary, 110 in a 55, was 23 at the time. I was given a break for 70 in a 55 & paid the fine never had problem since. I currently run without a front plate on my 03 for the last 4 summers, & no issues as of yet.

Years ago police followed me around a shopping mall parking lot while I was looking for a space
It must have been a slow day. I had both plates no tinted windows etc.

I decided to see how much they wanted to play, I pulled into the drive thru line at a fast food restaurant I was gonna buy them drinks. They went away

Don't see how getting checked for speeding is profiling. Sounds more like a man doing what he is paid for.

I drive my other cars faster than i drive the corvette on the highway. Maybe its just me but i fell like i stick out like a sore thumb. Probably more paranoia then profiling.

Torch Red Vettes sort of stand out down here in South Florida.
Watch your speed and know where you are.
