Just kidding (mostly).
I try not to be too sensitive, which isn't that much of a stretch for me. I realize that some folks just don't like the looks of the C4, in spite of how much I do love its looks. I guess they don't care that performance-wise, it was a beast back in its time. Especially once the LT1, 4 and 5 came on the scene. Of course this is relative to other vehicles of its era. My LT4 can still run with most of the newer cars in the 350HP range pretty easily, which I don't think is too bad for a nearly 20 year old Vette.

It's a Vette.
Therefore it deserves to be honored.
I have seen quite a few very nice C4s.
A great friend who owned 11 Corvettes at the same time (two C3s, two C4s, four C5s (two were Z06), 3 C6s [one was a Z06]), before cancer got him, had a super nice C4 with only 24K miles on it. Miss him dearly. He was a fighter pilot in Viet Nam.

I like the way you think!
Your friend sounds like he was a helluva guy. Anyone who serves our country *and* owns 11 Vettes to boot, should get plenty of respect.

In truth I appreciate all Vettes but I care for C4's the least. I don't much care for that era in general I guess...music, clothing, cars, etc. That's why.
Anyhow, was just being my normal silly self. Thanks for letting it slide.
