I started this down hill spiral when I posted a picture of my pet Cormorant wearing my Rolex watch... it was all down hill from there... very sad face :
Very nice, indeed
my wife was going to buy me one last year but i told her no, because i am very hard on watches already have broken 3 watch lenses and they only cost 10$ each if it happened on a Rolex i would be in the poor house
A member mentioned something about this being C5 related, and didn't see the first post showing the Rolex on my C5 shifter, nor appartently knowing the racing connection between Rolex and winning Corvette teams. then another comment was about pens...who knows where that came from, but here is a photo showing one(A Pen) made for me with the C5 logo in Cherry wood furniture.

This is the pen I used to sign the check when I bought my 2001 C5 vert. (I hope that helps the purists out there beefing about "how-is-this-Corvette-related"?)
Anyway, I recently had to send the pen back to the Janesville, WI facility for the shell to be repaired. They always do a nice job, but I really hate to be without my pen when I go driving my Corvette.
Any more good Corvette + [your "thing"] stories?
Btw - not sure where all the uptight-ness is coming from in this thread. Kind of a sad commentary.

Sam , as I have said on more than one occasion... Some of the people on this forum are so uptight, it would take a 1500 horse power tractor, to pull a needle out of their Butts
Paid 5k+ for a watch and you cant check your email on it?!?....you got robbed already!
Email heck... for that price I would expect to wake up feeling cheap and ashamed the next morning!

Corvette relevant
I don't think you are fully appreciating the amount of force it took to wedge that needle up there in the first place!
