Best c5 mod.
If you could only do one mod to a c5 what would it be?

Well the problem for me was I couldn't do just one mod! I've done wheels & tires, Audio upgrade, Led upgrade, a few exterior things, the list goes on. The very first mod I did was put an aftermarket exhaust on, stock was to quiet for me.

Yeah, exhaust is high on the list along with a CAI. I've done the tires and upgrade headlights. Mines a 99' so it starts off a little light in horsepower verses later c5's I'd like to fix that issue. Some guys say a dyno tune could get me as much as 30 additional horsepower.

Take a basically stock C5 Corvette,
SuperCharge it.
Go from 314 RWHP to 504 RWHP.
It's awesome, reliable, drives (almost) like stock, until you 'ask it for more'... then it's nothing like stock!
You will, in time, need bigger rear tires, more often, though.
Don

The ONE mod that I think I have appreciated the MOST and the ONE that I would do IF I could only do one... would be the C6 Z06 shock upgrade.

Along with the C6 Z06 sway bars.
Those that go for more HP without better handling are (IMNSHO) fools,

Drag radials. Without traction you are not getting anywhere fast enough.

I believe in beginning from the ground up and that is why I always start with suspension. My Koni sport shocks is the single best mod I've done. So to answer your question, shocks!

The OP said ONE MOD, not implying one mod if you only had $200 to work with. He simply wanted opinions on what ONE MOD would be good.
The one mod bunch that only says handling options are OK, but having that Prius screaming at you to get out of the way is going to be a downer.
And saying others are fools is just **** poor manners or jealousy for being too slow.
Oh *&&^^% just never mind....... buy a hood seal.

Put a screw in the throttle pedal to keep from hinging.
