C5 Final Design Update
I'd really love to do something like this but it may be technically impossible. It would also require fab work on the fenders and hood as the pop up headlights are eliminated and moved to the bumper. Although I like some aspects of the OEM bumper I think it could be much more and a bit lower looking in stock form. The bumper doesn't drag, it's the frame rails that drag. I wonder why they didn't bring the OEM bumper down some, at least more on the sides to tie in with the rocker panel line. That way they would still get adequate cooling through the front of the car. Anyways, Just for fun

Good luck, and post pics as you progress.
Change B pillar angle and location to be different than the FRC
Side window extended
Extend rear window somewhere between zo6 and coupe and angle it more
Added body kit with splitters on front and sides
Wrapped the wheels with the body
extended the rear wing out the back and up
Attempted to blend in the rear brake duct (fail) but you get the idea
To me, besides the zo6 logo there should have been something different about this car that is instantly recognizable as a z06 and not an frc.
Yes, we all know the differences but something should have been done to this car besides wheels and an emblem. Just my opinion. Both are fine cars as they are.
Since many z06 owners race their cars, this design was done with aero as the goal. This car couldn't be driven on the street with this design and ride height. I would give it an hour before it was damaged, if that.
Put a Targa top on this and it starts to look very viper-ish.
Thanks to whoever owns this car for the source pic
How bout the east coast supercharger kit? I've heard good things about those, especially the completeness of their kit
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Probably the best shot I've taken of my car ever.
Only thing that would have made this moment better is if my Son was with me.
This weekend she was lowered.
Eibach Bolts
Bilstein Sport shocks, still rides pretty good. Not too harsh
Next week :alignment

It's shots like this, that make me say, maybe I shouldn't even bother with all the body kit stuff. To be honest though, this shot was exceptional, the sky, the surroundings, no leaves on the trees. It just creates a feeling. No other pic of my car has ever made me feel this way. Thanks again
2 hours driving means 8 hours cleaning
Only 4 doors have a C Pillar. Just A and B on the Vette. The B pillar being behind the driver
Now we know where Dodge got their 2000's Dodge Intrepid front end from
The reason I pushed the B pillar back was because it would more easily accommodate roll cages and allow taller drivers to bring the seat back more for said Roll Cage. It was also done for aero. In theory this car would have more rear downforce
Since there was no ZR1 C5, the z06 was the performance flagship, They should have done something with this car aesthetically that really set it apart from other models.
