Are you sure you have the projector adjusted correctly to where it shows a display on the windshield? Try adjusting the buttons to the left of the gauge cluster - there will be one that says page and one that has two arrows for the up/down adjustment.
I just know that it wont display so I was trying to find the fuse location
I know where the hud is on the dash..all switchs do nothing...thks for the reply
It's likely the mirror has just fallen in the unit. That is the most common failure.
Not a particularly easy fix though.
I looked at my buddys c5 and the mirror looks like its where it should be. it has not fallen..i looked in the fuse boxes but nothing is marked for the HUD
I have a similar issue but I can hear the up-down motor running. My A4 shifter light isn't getting power either. I'm assuming it is something on the back of the instrument cluster.
