Dash lights out

C5, 1999 heater control lights no longer work, got dim first, now out. All other dash lights are fine.

are you talking about the LCD readout or the illumination lights ?? if it's the illumination lights the led bulbs might have burned out but all at once ????

And if it is the led temp, etc, readout lights, apparently the solder separates from some diodes inside the unit, causing them to go dim or out. Very common problem. You could attempt the repair yourself (several vids on the net-probably a few right on this site) but if you are like me, you will cause more damage trying to fix them that there was originally. Numerous places on net that offer repair services (type in C5 Corvette HVAC repair or something similar). Don't know where you live but I sent mine to Dave Ruberg in Winona MN and got it back in three days. The unit comes out of the dash fairly easily after removing a few trim pieces. There are vids on that, too. Good luck!!
