Ok, thanks..it just looks like it's more in the pic. Did you realign the car after you lowered it? I am interested because I was curious on tire wear with negative camber..
definitely need to realign after you lower it. And with tire wear, toe is what will kill tire wear. I’ve ran as much as -6degrees and kept my car aligned and was fine with my tires
+1 for coil overs. My car rides amazing on them considering how low it is. The lowest part of my car is the front radiator cradle (its been lowered with my A&A blower kit and it takes a few days to get used to at first but learning and avoiding things in the road happens unconsciously now

Mine is lowered to the point where the "air" above the tire is equal to the "air" in front of the tire, i.e. the wheel/tire combo is centered as best it can be in the wheel opening, as against stock where there is an excess (IMO) of "air"above the tires. Took a bit of tweakig to get the "look" right. It'e been like that for almost 10 years now, with zero ill effects. And I have bumpy roads to negotiate. Very occasionally I hear the flexible air dam scrape, but it used to do that stock as well. I am running stock C6 wheel/tire sizes, BTW - 245/40x18 fronts and 285/35x19 rears.
And don't worry about the suspension geometry. The designers make sure that nothing untoward happens during the normal suspension range - the CAD systems make that simple to achieve.
My moderate lowering did not even affect the toe in.

One thing I never see people take into consideration is how low the vehicle sits with two people in it at the stock height. If they knew, most people probably wouldn't lower them at all...

Very good point. I’ll make sure to take that into consideration when setting them. A+ on that feedback.
After all the feedback I’m going with coil overs. Figured I’m not getting rid of it anytime soon, so might as well go hard with coil overs.
Thanks for for all the input! I’ll let you know how they turn out in a couple of weeks.
Just watch the spring rates, if it is just for street stay under 600in lbs, based on what I have 400-450 max in front 500-550 max in rear. I have 550 rear & may drop to 500 & not sure what you are looking at but ride adjustable is the way to go, this way if you run a soft spring & want it stiffer just turn up the adjustment to your liking.
