.... Is that the car " Drives on Rails "
It's the single most important thing you should be looking for on a C5, it makes for a driving experience unlike any other in how the car HUGS THE ROAD
My 04 LeMans Edt. has selective ride. Love the option and in mo is worth it. Shocks went bad and had to replace, got a full set from rock auto for $1300. Expensive, yes, but to me I want my car " as built" and love the option. Just to cover my a"! I bought an extra set for down the road while I can still get them. If you want to live on the "cheap" then don't buy a Vette! Buy a Focus. Outside of normal PM's it's the only high $ part I have replaced on my 04. Not bad for a 15 yr. old car. You should always keep a couple grand aside just in case , for a Vette. If you can't do that, you are looking at the wrong car.
