Got teased about C5
As I got out of the Corvette this morning, I heard someone yelling something, it's a woman I have talked to a few times, she repeated it "that's totally not a midlife crisis car!!"
I said no, bought it when I was 25, 41 now. Haha

He tells me that he could never own a Corvette because it's "too mid life crisis"
HE LITERALLY DRIVES THE EPITOME OF MIDLIFE CRISIS CARS!!!!
Anyway, I have a silver on black C5Z, and if nothing else, at least my car doesn't look like baby food bananas that sat in the sun too long

I bought my Z06 almost 3 years ago at the age of 25. All of my friends rag on me and say it's my Quarter-Life Crisis car.
I always respond with some sarcastic remark about how my 'vette is nicer than theirs.

She might have meant it as a compliment...as in you have a nice sports car so it must be because of a midlife crisis (that's the cliche for all sports cars, not just Corvettes).

Being a retired Philly PD Police officer, I've had things said to me and my family that would make your hair stand up. Mostly just by stupid idiots that simply want to demean you.
