I just found the Maxjack online. It lifts the car way higher and only costs 1000 bucks at Home Depot. Dan Mar makes it. What do you guys think?

Can you provide a link? I went to Home Depot and searched for the Maxjack and nothing came up for me.

Quick jack. Love it. Works with all my vehicles. Used HF Daytona jack and homemade ramps prior to that. Ramps have to be stored also. If you are doing a project that the car has to go up and down a few times, you will want the Quickjack. I store them on the floor off to each side off the car against the wall. I lined the bottoms with the soft part of velcro to make it easy to slide across my flooring without scratching the floor. Plenty of room to roll around under vehicles on a creeper. Quickjack locks in place, so I have even stored my car on it for several weeks at a time to reduce tire flat-spotting. Somebody has them on sale every couple of months or so, I paid about a grand shipped.

Thanks for the link, I can see where it could be a valuable tool to have around but I wouldn’t trade my Quickjack for it. I would want to have the center of the car open all they way through more times than not. I would like to see one in person and being used.

I've got the 5000 under my C5 now. One tray hits the puck perfectly but the front one goes beyond the puck point by a couple of inches. Is it just close enough to the puck point that it's OK? It's on the frame rail.
The guy at quickjack says I need the 3000 model. That's a drag for me because my Vette is the lightest car I own. My boys have two and then my wife and I have a heavy Cadillac. I was hoping to use the quickjack on all 4 cars.

As long as it's still on the frame rail, I personally wouldn't worry about it, but that's just me.

I bought the BL 5000 SLX do you have the same? Just wondering if you have the same issue?

I'm one of the cheapskates that uses a regular old floor jack and hockey puck on the frame rails. I was just speaking from a logical point of view

I'm not sure exactly what you are having a problems with? Based on my experiences with the Quickjacks I can't even visualize your spacing description.

There are dozens of guys including myself that are lifting C5s at the jacking puck points with a 5000 model.

I'll see if I have a picture somewhere as to how I set mine up.

Bought a 3500 Quickjack in 2017 for near 1200 bucks. No problems and gets the car 22 inches off the ground . Have even had my '03 truck up on it with no problems as these jacks are highly underrated. With todays offerings available, I'd go with a 2 post lift so I could scoot around under the car in a chair with rollers and not have to get my old body on a creeper.
