It is in the driver side storage bin, covered with carpet. If you have the F45 deleted with a Tech II you will not need simulators. If you don't/can't use a Tech II to delete the F45, then the simulators are to fool the system into thinking the F45 shocks are still present. I pulled my F45s out of my '99 several years ago for C6 Z06 shocks. My F45s were still working but I, frankly, could not tell any difference among the three settings (maybe could have on a track but mine is a convertible so getting on a track was unlikely), saw how much they would cost to replace, and had an opportunity for a great deal on C6 Z06 takeoffs with less than 500 miles on them. I also got lucky that Carlisle was coming up and a forum member (Bill Curlee) offered to use his Tech II to delete the F45 while at Carlisle - this was in 2012 (or 13?).
If following the F45 delete instructions posted above, after the module is unplugged do remove it from the car to prevent it being accidentally reconnected.

I didn't remove it right away, but did tape up the connectors and included a note about not connecting it. I finally did remove it last year when I put in insulation/sound deadening.
