AGM batteries sulfate more slowly than traditional flooded cell batteries do, so they inherently last longer. They also tend to more storage capacity in the same package size.
I run an Interstate from Costco, with high CCA and a long warranty.
There are only a handful of companies that make batteries. Most of them are just re-stickered. I have a SuperStart from O'reily because I got a discount through work and the replacement option is easy since there's locations everywhere.
Also running the Duracell AGM. As mentioned by others it's the same as about 4 other batteries. I think it was around 160 with tax from Batteries plus. They had a buy online pickup in store promotion.
I have lots of addition electrical needs in my C5s therefore I use Optima's Yellow Tops. I've had great luck with them. I have Optima batteries in all my vehicles (5)

I've run them in my motorcycles for the last ten years or so and found they don't last any longer than the old wet cell batteries did. YMMV
The ACDelco in the vette I just bought was made early 2018, think I'll replace it with an AGM? Maybe?
Question- are AGMs so leakproof that there's no point looking for a top post replacement? How about a top post flooded cell- would that eliminate the leak concern?
Will factory cables reach top post without any issues?
They make side post to top post adapters so you should be able to make the top post battery work. I went with a side post optima red top as I've had one in my 2001 Silverado since 2006 and it's still going strong. Figured I'd give them another shot although I know they aren't made the same as they were back then.
I'm running Optima red top. Last one was 5+ years old when one terminal began to leak a little and grow some crystals. Was still holding charge. So, I bought a new red top and have zero complaints.
