For the price, looked like you got a decent set fitment wise. My only gripe about headers are those 2-bolt flanges that eat up ground clearance. Even high end Kooks/ARH/Stainless Works use them and I don't understand why especially in C5 application where cars get low.
Congrats on finding a good deal. Looks nice. How do they sound? What are you doing for a tune?
Thanks! Sounds throatier at idle, but not too crazy. Definitely louder revving it. Won't be able to take it for a ride for a bit. I'm still researching getting a tune.
This. I have Speed Engineering and they fit really well for the price. The fact that companies still charge $1K plus for headers for a 25 year old car is asinine.
I'm looking at getting the Speed Engineering headers/x-pipe for my c5. What are you using for the axle back portion of the exhaust? I'm thinking about using my stock mufflers for now and then maybe getting some borla stingers eventually.

My car came with a Borla S-Type. They sound good driving car normally, not too loud. But when you get on it it really opens up. I haven't driven it with the headers on it yet, just had it idling and revved it a few times in my garage.

When I bought my car it already had a Borla S-type axle back installed. It sounded great with the just the headers. I have since added a cam and it's just a bit too loud for me. I'm adding cats to my x-pipe so hopefully that quiets it down a bit. If not I'll look to swap in either a Corsa Sport or stock Z06 Ti axle back.
Fitment, durability and longevity are the main differences between cheap headers and top quality headers. As far as power is concerned the cheap "E-bay headers" hold their own.
