Default Mod prices ?

Just curious what to expect to pay a shop for a cam and supporting mods with headers/ full exhaust. With a tune. Just looking for ballpark ranges

600+ btr cam, springs, rods, lifters and gaskets
1000+ labor installing it
200 new balancer
200 fresh oil pump
200 fresh timing chain

1300 for SE headers and mids with used pipes shipped and a local shop welding
VS
3600 for new ARH pipes and mid and a new cat back

350 to 800 for tune

A nice used blower kit with a canned tune starts to look really nice!

$6439.77 without headers or tune if you use the shop this user got a quote from.

There’s a lot of variables. What headers and exhaust you go with are the biggest aside from labor
The other is what kind of markup they throw on parts, if they’ll use yours or not.
It’s adds up pretty quick. If you’re not doing heads, you should be able to stay just under $5000 but you could go to $8000 with higher end parts like AFR heads etc etc

I know everyone will be recommending a blower which will definitely make more power. Sometimes it’s not the best solution for everyone like myself. I run my car in the mountains along with Autocross. While you can certainly use a blower doing those things personally I feel like a H/C/I setup works better. I’ve been down both roads and each has its pros and cons.
