What a surprise this is. Reminds me of Z06Vette.com but more user freindly and less busy. I quess it will take a little getting used to, change always does. And the bugs will eventually be worked out. I like the new look. Now let me figure out how to post my sig.

Default New format...

I have run a lottery forum (http://www.lotterypost.com) for four years. Over that time I've upgraded the software a few times, and each time you get a certain percentge of people who complain.

Believe me when I say that (1) you'll get used to it, and (2) you'll find it to be much better over time.

If you're doing a lot of left-right scrolling, it is definitely because of the larger images. You can make it go away by increasing your screen resolution and making sure your browser window is maximized.

Windows users can increase their screen resolution by right-clicking the desktop area, select Properties, choose the Settings tab, and move the Screen Resolution slider to the right.

Some people have said this format is more cluttered, but for me it is much more readable. I'm glad they moved the forum to a format that is much more "with the times".

They do need to improve performance however...

As a software test person for the last 15 years, this is probably the BEST example I have ever seen on what NOT to do to a user interface.

Everything is too big. I feel like Alice In Wonderland trying to cope with oversize objects. Preferred the old one a million times. As has been said, it had it's own signature. This is bad so tweaks can't come soon enough.

i don't like the signature option...you can only use 250 characters which butchered my signature. how are you supposed to list any mods?

This is the same format as my Jeep forum, I like it. You can edit your sig by using the "User CP" at the top. I have not had to do a lot of side to side scrolling yet, not sure why that is.

Do Not Like IT . Some of us are not computer experts. It took me long enough to get used to the old site.

I think there are a few bugs to be worked out. It also has been running very slow.

I liked the old format better but I guess I'll either get used to this or not!

Much slower and very busy looking, I'm sure I'll adjust but I really liked the look, speed and feel of the old forum! Just my two cents. Jeff

Wow, after using it for a awhile the this morning at work which is a 100Mb ethernet to 3 DS3's, this thing crawls, I'm seeing about 30 seconds per page to display. I can live with the new look, but the speed issue will severly degrade my enjoyment of the site, as I only have 15 minutes or so at a time to slide through the 5 or 6 forums I like to visit. Troy, I can live with the new look but please address the speed ASAP. I fear if it is this slow for me on this huge pipe I'm on, what is it doing to the slower DSL guys and the dial up folks. I'd hate to see the best Corvette board killed by folks abandoning the forum becuase it's too slow. So why the change?? Regards, Jeff

Already getting used to the new format and I even like it better. Great job on the new Corvette Forum format to everyone involved !
I agree, it is a bit sluggish.
