Got the new issue of Corvette Quarterly and they have a full spread pic of a silver C6. One look at that thing and you'll be buying a Mustang. I've never seen such a plain sorry excuse for a Corvette. Just plain dull looking. Sorry to offend some of you, but that's jmo.

YEA....They really messed up...

Hopefully it will be a short productin run...

OR.......

They'll do like they did the camaro n leave bscly evrything exactly the same but just change the front end...

A new front end is all it really needs....

The C5 is just so beautiful......The lines ad curves are jut right.....

It has it's own look...

The C6 just looks to much like somthing else.....

They cold of left th front end the same butjust made the lines and curves a little rougher than the C5...

Thats what thy did with the rest of he car....Jst made th lines deper an straighter....

Why the two head lamps forthe eyes..

The crossed flag for the nose...

And the front air dam for the smile?????

WWWWWHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???? ????????

C6 is very cool to me, but I love my Z06 so much that I'm pretty much indifferent. The car isn't different enough to make me want one bad... now the next Z, That I want!

Some guy that works near me has a new Silver one that I have seen often in the last few weeks, I call it the smiling Corvette, and I have to admit that when they first came out I didn't care for them at all. But last week he lowered it and I have to tell you guys what a difference it made and this thing is really growing on me. Hopfully by the time the Z06 comes out they will do a little changing to the front facia or one of the vendors will. Wouldn't consider an 06 Z06 but the 07 may be in the future. It will take a lot to make me sell my 04Z, It is by far the best and fasted car that I have owned, Man I LOVE THIS CAR

I have to add my 2 cents worth to this thread and say that I too do not like the looks of the C6. My issues seem to be somewhat different then those mentioned so far...my disdain is for the styling (or lack thereof) of the rear end of the car. To me it looks like someone backed it into a large belt sander and accidently ground off a foot or two. I think I could stand it if they added some length to the back end. It is a very awkward looking car as it sets...absolutely no symmetry to the design. It seems that making it marketable in Europe overtook the priority of good design. It is tragic to me that the connsumate American sports car should be subjected to such hideous styling. I am not that crazy about the front end styling, but I can tolerate it far more than I can the ugly back side!

Thank God I had sense enough to buy an 04 Z06!

I purchased a new 2004 Z06 a few weeks ago.

The C6 just doesn't do it for me.

I think the C6 styling just doesn't represent the Vette as well as the C5 does.

Considering Peter Aztek designed the C6, its no wonder it turned out the way it did. Recently Pontiac discontinued the Aztek from what I understand.

I think a lot of the C6 styling is influenced by its sharing of its core platform with the Cadillac XLR -- the two are like sister cars -- the Corvette is the sports car version and the XLR is the roadster version.

I don't see myself buying a C6.

I'm none too happy to have bought a new 2004 Z06.

I like 'em both. The C6 has a much tauter and more business-like look, with the shorter overhangs front and rear, along with the modern nose. With that said, I think my '04 Z is more sensuous looking, if that's allowed to describe the styling. It's got a sexy butt that just won't quit, and the lines are timeless and flow so beautifully. So, I guess I like them both for different reasons.

Have not had a ride in a C6 yet, but talked to a friend who owns one. He had 3 previous Corvettes, the last one was a C5. He loves the C6. I do not like the front or the back. I do not like the sharp lines all over the car either. I will wait to see what the Z06 looks like.

I'm not at all impressed with the 'regular' C6 look, but I have a feeling that the C6 Z06 is going to be an entirely different story.
