C5's for Dummies
Nate brought up an idea that I really like. C5's for Dummies! That's a book we really need. Now all we have to do is figure out how to get ET and Patches to colaborate on writing it!

I don't normally pull fixes in there, but will happily link to any page that has it. No need to redo what's already there. I suppose I could link to the TSB/recall site, a few how-to's, and all the Tech Tips from the various Corvette sites. I basically do whatever will help me, and I know I keep forgetting where all the good sites are. Even when I copy them into my IE Favorites folder, I often lose my computer before I backup.

Sounds like a great idea. I save many of the threads that deal with "how-to's" and have used them to do things with the car. This place is full of information.

I took my car in to the dealer to have a new steering wheel installed and while it was there they said they had to do a recall on the column lock, since I have a CLB I said go ahead, well now the "service column lock" is displayed in the dic 
The dealer told me a bunch of things I had to do and....... 
I sent a pm to Patches with my problem and shortly after the problem is gone Big Thank's to fellow member Patches

yep...it would be nice if the tech links section got updated with good stuff more often

I'll be the first to say that the Forum is the best place to get the info but we need some place where commonly asked questions are discussed in detail. Yes, the tech reference SHOULD be that area, but it rarely gets updated.
Besides, do you really want, "What year models have the most trouble?" or "Which exhaust is best?" in the tech reference?

Speaking as a newbie to this forum, and a long time member of some other forums, there are always those newbie questions that people who have been here a while get sick of answering. It's nice to have a place for us newbies to check over some FAQ before bombarding the forums with stupid questions that have been asked a million times like "What the best mod" etc. Search is useful, but it's amazing how many people are too lazy to use it.

There are lots of people who are having water intrusion problems! Been there done that! I will come up with a all inclusive water knowledge post, kind of like the electrical ground post and you can add it in to your post.
