Default Snotty C6 spotted!!!

What a little punk (I'm sooo mad). I was cruising, topdown, on Route 91 with my son and saw a wine color C6 approaching throught my rearview mirror. So, I slowed down to let him catch up to show my son about the "Save the Wave" and how it is done properly. This was the first time I actually saw a C6 on freeway while in my C5 vert, so I was really excited and to run with him for awhile.

But that little punk (looked in late 20s) with dark sun glasses gave me and my Son a stare but no wave while we are going crazy with the waves and thumbs up...etc. ... So I thought, maybe he dosen't know about this "Wave" thingy. Well, I gave another try and got next to him and waved him but still no reply. Yet, he totally ignored us.... Oh well, job well done showing my son about how NICE, POLITE and COOL corvette owners are.

Save the Waves.......

There's plenty of them driving C5's, C4's and C3's too.

(C1 and C2 owners are almost always true enthusiasts)

Let's not turn this into a generation war and just say this particular guy was not a "Vette guy".

I've had mirror images of my car completely ignore me while I was waving my @ss off. I just think - to bad, so sad. It's their loss if they can't be civil, far less just polite.

C3s always wave back - I've not seen any C1 or C2 Vettes. C4s has been 50/50. C6s never wave (so far). I just wave at all vettes - and if they don't wave back, that's OK too.

When I bought my C6 it acually said in the owners manual that I was supposed to wave to other vette drivers. I don't know how this guy missed it....

The instructions for ought to be on page 1 of the owners manual as well as on the backs of the sunvisors.

Unfriendly is unfriendly no matter what age. I wave once if they see me, if they don't return a wave I call and forget em, but this is rare.

P.S. Wine color sux anyways.

Ya, but the 2nd rule of C5 modding (after the floormat upgrade, of course) requires the visor stickers be removed.

Thats how you can tell a true Corvette enthusiast it doesn't matter what year of vette goes by they always wave, up in my area I always noticed that the older guy's in C-5's would never wave, but now that I'm a C-5 owner I'll be changing that.
