.. I drove through sarasota today with a giant puddle splash mark running down the side of my car from front wheel to behind back wheel .. apparently I hit a puddle at a high speed?
and it was one of those muddy puddles, because there were was crud sticking outwards a good 1/4" from the paint.
dont you hate that :lol whats worse is when you detail a black corvette and get 2 gigantic bird droppings on the hood

Some people just don't get into the cars like we do and they could care less about waving to other Corvette owners. Too bad, they really are missing out on keeping a tradition alive. Here's a wave for you and your son - :
Probably a 1st time Vette owner who has yet to learn one of the most important social amenities of Vette ownership. I have had this happen several times, but the number that do wave far out weighs those that don't. Here's one from me
When I'm driving I am aware of what I'm driving (C5 how can you not be) and everything around me. When I see any vette within my line of sight I wave, sometimes they way back sometimes they don't and it's ok because nothing will stop me from enjoying my ride.
Could have been a lot boy taking the car somewhere or he could have been driving daddy's or mommy's car. Sadly, it doesn't bother me as much as it used to since more and more do not wave I've sort of gotten used to it. I've found that waving is in direct proportion to Corvette model year - the newer the model, the less waving you see.

wave threads shoud be locked immediately. I wave because it's my way of saying hi and because I want to. Not because I need some kind of recognition in return. If they wave back fine, if not, big deal. I'm putting a big dupe on this one for the umpteenth time.
He probably didn't wave because he's blind or else he wouldn't have bought that smiling mazda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I didn,t think it made any difference what Vette you owned as long as you owned one or the other. I am suprised to see such animousity here on the forum. As for me I take pride and feel gratefull to be associated with all of you,no matter what Vette you own.
