I disagree; I think that a lot of things that people put on from the Z06 are a performance or appearance enhancement, wheels, ducts etc. But badges are another story. One does not go with the other. If I put Z06 wheels on my vert it's not to try to fake people out, it's to enhance the appearance. JMO

OMG you guys need to lighten up I was trying to make some laughs. I painted my calipers RED and in a sense thats 'posing' as a z06. I may also try to pose as a newer/more optioned car by getting Mags/y2k 5 spokes.

The vents are cool, the rims are cool, painting calipers is cool.
Z06 badge is a no no..... However, I know of a Coupe w/ Z06 badges....(had a LS-6 swap). Is that cool, then?

You should look carefully at the 'badges'.
At a distance someone could mistake these as Z06
However, the Z06 does not even come close to warrenting these badges

There is a LOT more than just a engine swap between a Z06 and a non-Z06 Vette - from chassis, gearbox, suspension etc. It's not just "55 more HP and you have a Z06".

Gee, that would be me.
I put these on because I like the look, but badges are over the line.

I've seen people put big wings on the back of their Vettes trying to make them look like Civics!

As you can see I added screens after I drilled the fog light bracket. But thats it for me. Purely functional (and my wife likes the looks).
Oh I forgot I have Z06 cat backs too...

Because they feel like doing it. It's their car.

Well, since no one has said it yet......
"BADGES?!? We doan need no stinkin' badges!"
It's been said here at least a jillion times, it's your car, do what you want. In this case - it's his car, let him do what makes him happy......
