Would it be wrong then to attach z/06 badges to it?
Don't forget the lighter windshield, the MM12 transmission and clutch, titanium exhaust, clutch, differential, etc... not to mention welding on your body colored roof panel and chopping off the rear windshield.

Badges don't bother me unless somebody tries to sell the vehicle later under false pretences to an unsuspecting newbie.

What's wrong with the screens and scoops, they are for looks and are functional. This thread obviously refers to people who are falsely trying to represent a non Z06 as a Z06.

A sense of humor is probably what got the badge on there. Only a Vette person would know the difference; most other people don't have a clue anyways.

I saw a Cadillac badge on a Hundai; thought it was great.

I saw a yellow vert arround north Dallas with all the appearance mods to look like a Z06/vert. Pretender, yes it was; performer, no it was not.

My humble opinion of this topic is simple. Unless YOU bought it....then we have no right to administer judgement on the owner who paid for his Corvette from his pocket AND who has decided for HIS reasons to add the 'extras'.

Personally, originality goes for me..

If the Z06 additions are functional I have no problem with them. A badge on a car would not get my vote. But to each owner come the choices to make. I have the front foglight screens on my coupe as I liked the look.

Nothing wrong with the picture above - looks fine with me. Just missing the coffee can exhaust, 4 foot wing and Type-R emblem.. Oh, and the Kanji characters and ALPINE windshield banner

I wouldn't do it. But, if it's your car and you're paying for it, I guess you can do as you please.
