Can LS1-Edit Copy and Flash the stock program.
I mean..If I have a copy of my stock flash (as a backup before making changes) Is this an exact and complete copy? Just like the dealer would have? And if I flash back to stock later.. Does it write the complete code back just like the dealer?
I want to make sure I don't go blazing any new trails I can't return from...

It only writes the data segment back (not the code segment) but it does write all of it. You cannot use it to install a factory flash in a fresh PCM but you can definitely save your existing stock programming and completely revert back to it if needed.
