The vette viper shot out is this month. I red lighted in the finals last year. I must win this year.

I really don't want to waste my money on tuning if I don't have to.

Also, what should I expect to pay. Or, should I buy it and do it at home myself.

Well, if you get the 30# injectors, you will definately need a tune. You can do a rough tune with the MAF-T, but if you're looking for every pony, a custom tune or LS1 Edit would be necessary. I don't think you would need 30# injectors though on an otherwise stock car.

For just an intake, you're probably fine with the stock tune or maybe MAF-T if you're ****. LS1 Edit is overkill. But the good thing is if you get the LS1 Edit, you can always tune for future mods later.
