Default BlackWing vs. VaraRam

Which is the best bang for my buck? I do spend a little time at the track.

The stock air intake is restrictive. Replacing it with a Vararam WILL make a difference. I did it and I do not think it was a waste of money.

They (Vararam) claim 'ram air'. There is no such thing. They also claim 'cold air'. Again, no such thing. Look up the definition of cold. If their ads are misleading, you can't trust anything else they say.

You can't argue with track results, VaraRam is the way to go for all out track performance.

I chose the Vararam for two reasons. #1 I didn't like that big *** filter sitting there getting soaked with water when you wash your car (and don't go talkin smack about hydrolocked engines and the vararams unless YOU have had it happen). #2 The track numbers I have seen and now have experienced say you will gain .2-.5 10th and 2-3 mph. I ran 13.021 @ 106.5 with an A4 2.73s Vararam, cat back and runflats. Says it's working to me.

Here is some reading for you with plenty of proof that it blows the Blackwing away.

Also, if you take the advice of the resident Corvette Forum idiot "Korreck", you deserve what you get.

Check with Redgar. He had it happen! With a Vararam. You think it's ,
take a poll. Or, you could bury your head in the sand and say it doesn't happen.

Did a search for Redgar and hydrolock and VaraRam and didn't find anything. Looks like you just couldn't resist putting in your .02 when you really have no first hand expierience. Thats why it's so hard to get good information from here, people like to post speculation, rumor and urban legend and we have to sift thru it with the best filter we have. Maybe it's time to get the "Myth Busters" involved!

Here is the proof that loser boy Korreck is talking out his a_ _ again. It will be nice for REDGAR to post up the facts.

Sorry to dissapoint you Korreck, as I have stated earlier, I'm no way affiliated with VARARAM. But you feel free to keep peddling your .

It's just a product that works. How do I know it works....... BECAUSE I TESTED IT AGAINST BLACKWING. The question is, what have you tested to have such a strong opinion that it does'nt work??????????? Still waiting on some facts Korreck. What Korreck... I can't hear you.

I never said he posted it. Happened in Florida. Hit a puddle of water. HYDROLOCK. Do a search on Google and see if you can find anyone.
