Default Green Filter for Vararam

Anyone have a part number for a Green Filter to fit the vararam intake? I have the part number for K&N (33-2522) but it does not match up on the Green Filter Web site. I have the deminisions but that is not a search option. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

I know of only 2 options for a Vararam replacement filter.

The K&N and the Triumph TR6 (I believe) OEM filter.

I have checked AC Delco, Fram, Purolator and none of them make it. Does not surprise me that you can't find a corrosponding Green filter.

There isn't one in the US. I contacted them and they don't make one close to the dimensions. Green is a European filter, if you go to the UK web site they have one for the Triumph but it was very expensive. I also tried the filter for the Jaguar XJS for around 1989 (if I remember correctly), K&N 33-2011. It should fit as well, but in the end it was more money so I stayed with the 33-2522 and trimmed it to fit. I also siliconed it to the cover to prevent leaks and ensure it stays in place.

I found the Jaguar filter deminisions to actually be a little too small and the triumph TR7 33-2522 fits fairly well. I was looking at the Green filter since it is a little more quality filter. Thanks for all the information.

The green filter part I found said you needed 2 filters for the TR7 and they were 49uk each. I contacted them for more info in the UK and I will see what they respond with. Until then..... BUMP!!

I actually bought several of the Jaguar filters (paper variety) figuring if they fit I would simply change every year. The Jaguar filter has a metal housing and won't conform to the curved shape of the Vararam. I spent most of the winter (nothing much better to do around here) looking and finally went with the K&N 33-2522 filter.
