If you need something other than factory (which is a good filter) Mobil One is available in many retail outlets. I personally use the AMSOIL filter, available on this forum over there <----------- Purchase from one of our members SUBDRIVER.

I believe made for NAPA by Wix. I've personally had good luck with the K&N.

Go with K&N- they are great and they have a 1" nut on the bottom so you can grab that with a wrench and twist on and off...plus they filter great!
I use them in all my cars!

I've never had a problem with FRAM.
Six vehicles at home, nothing but FRAM used on them from day one. Well, the 1930 Durant doesn't have a FRAM on it ...
Wifes 95 Olds just turned 300,000 km, can't say I hear the rods rattling yet ......<G>.

I agree. The K&N also quiets down the common piston slap, due to the filter's very low pressure drop compared to most other filters.
By the way, the standard Fram filter also exhibits a low pressure drop and although it may not be able to withstand racing speeds, it is a good filter for general use.
