Which Sleeper H/C package
Can anyone tell me which cam would be a solution as a sleepr upgrade?
So far the HOT CAM is not gainly enough and the same for the LS6 CAM.
TR 224-114 sound like a real great CAM and I bet it is But I also see the 220 and 226 as a choice to consider.
But then what about the OLD MAN CAM and the CHEATER CAM?
Any info on these cams as a upgrade & remain stealthy?
GMpartsdirect.com has LS6 heads. reg & ported ones for less than $1,000.
are this heads worth the bang for the buck?
I dont see them being mentioned often, most heads I hear are the AFR 205 and else.
So if I am not mistaking the Cheater cam and the old cam requires no tuning but limit them selves to low rpm & mid range power.
while the TR 224 14 requires tuning but greatly improves mid & high rpms where the stock cams seems to fall flat in its face.
Just wondering because if the HOT CAM nets around 20HP then a rival upgrades would be 1.85 Rockers and have to mess with no tunning.

Hotcam shouldnt even be in your choices. go with my old cam..its as sleeper as they come..

I just installed a VHP cam, 370 HP at 5,800 RPM but it won't make much power after that. Drives like stock, but has a real kick in the pants. I think it is a good setup, although not as popular as others.
