Anyone knows which wire to disconnect to disable the antenna from going up while the CD is playing? I found there is too much wind whistling noise when top down and CD on.
There's nothing you can just cut to make it function only with the radio -- your best bet is to wire a toggle in line with the antenna positive feed, to prevent it from going up unless you need radio reception. Not sure about the C5, but in most GM cars I think it's a pink wire in the radio harness -- I'm sure if you do a search, it's been discussed before.

-A.
but with my AVIC the blue was the lead to the auto aerial relay control circuit and the pink was the vehicle speed sensor.
Turning off power or removing the AVIC faceplate retracts the antenna. A switch would do the same.
