Default How Do you change the front turn signals

I am having a problem with my right front turn signal...it has gone a few times in one year. I suppose I can deal with that but it is a pain bringing it in for just that. Anyone know how to get at these things so I can change them. I have tried but can't get at it......help please !?

Turn on the headlights and back off one position to kill the lights.
Unscrew the 3 small screws on the black plastic housing around the headlight. Gently pull the housing clear. Reach down around the headlight unit and release the bulb holder. It unscrews counter clockwise but it has a plastic clip which you need to squeeze to release it. Change the bulb. Reseat the bulb holder and turn until it clicks back in place. Put the plastic housing back in place making sure to locate the small plastic tab in the bracket on the headlamp cover. Replace the 3 screws and close the lights.
10 minute job.

You may want to check the light housing. Some members have had problems with lights buring a hole in the casing and allowing water to get inside. This causes the bulbs to go prematurely.

The other thing you may wish to consider is disabling the DRLs. That way the lights are only lit when you are actually turning. You can do that by pulling the A2 fuse.

I was able to get to both by removing that hood support located right next to the headlight - its more like a rubber bumper on top of a theraded rod that supports the hood when closed I guess...anyway with the headlights up (but not on as mentioned above) I stuck my arm down in the gap and got to both the turn signals and the DRL's...I don't have small arms or hands either...so I did pick up a scrape or two but it was not too difficult...

Not sure if you can do it this way, but it works for the DRL bulbs. Push back on the air duct for the brakes from the front bumper and push to the side. Reach in, rotate connect, pull connector out of brake inlet in bumper, change bulb and then reverse process.

Thanks ALOT..to all that responded...I found that by removing the Hood support and the gasket around the headlamp worked great !!! With just the gasket removed I could not get my arm in there, but your idea of removing that rubber topped bolt support was fantastic...thanks again......It is nice not having to pay $60.00 for a $2.00 bulb to be installed.
