Shift Kit...HELP

I have a 04 Vert with a 2.73 Diff. and A4. I will be upgrading to 3.42 but probably not until this summer. Until then, I was thinking about installing a shift kit to help the weak 2.73 change faster and stronger. Is this a good idea? I use the car as a daily driver and do not want any tranny problems...

When I do upgrade to the 3.42 should I keep the shift kit installed?

2000 c5 installed hypertec and had shift improver kit installed. rear end is 3.42ar gets rubber coming out of first and second. Will snap your head right back, Car will go sideways if you disengage t/c

hey how much do you think it will cost to install the whole 342 differential gears and a shift kit
alot ?
