I never updated this thread???? I did eventually find my problem. It was a damn busted plug. I have driven the car at least a 1000 miles since the instasll and other then it running great no problems. with just a intake and these headers mated to a Bassani and flowmaster exhaust I ran a 13.1 on 20" rims. Car feels great. Hell last week I ordered a second set for my Expedition. Good product in my opinion.
I noticed on the pics of the redesigned Headers that the nut to bolt the dipstick support bracket to is missing. Is it OK to leave the dipstick flopping around or should a nut be welded on?

Still nothing on ebay but I have had 2 forum members contact me in the past month about them.
Seems the seller is working on it but still nothing available to the public.

OK - tstar. hahaha
STAINLESS Corvette Headers, C5, LS-1, LS-6 45mm Primary 1 3/4" Primary, with a 3" Collector. On a stock Z06, these headers produced and additional 20hp / 20 ft / lb
These are the specs I located on their web site. Tim has had MUCH more hands on experience with the revised design of the headers and can give more specifics.
I haven't installed em yet, I'm waiting on the A.I.R. tubes that were shipped to me yesterday.
But I can tell you this;
The Nut on the Passenger Header to bolt the Oil Dipstick support bracket to is missing. It's been addressed but I don't know when it will start appearing on the Headers.
The X Pipe flanges needs touched up as the pipe is protruding past the Cat Back flange a tad, on mine anyway. I'm going to clean it up with a hand grinder.
The Collector Connector is sized wrong it's 3" to 2.75" and is too wide. Throw it away...
FWIW I took mine over to Prediator Performance for them to look at and they were very impressed with them, excellent quality some of the best they have seen. And the price floored them!
I have had a set of these headers on my car for about a year. Never had a problem and I am running some extreme conditions. Procharger Stage 2@10 psi boost, methanol/nitromethane injection, comp cam, heads, Edelbrock Victor Jr. single plane intake, 60lb injectors, Racetronic fuel system, E-Bay headers with race cats ( steel internals), 3:90 rear gear. I think thats all of it. Dyno #'s were 550 to the wheels before the car started to slip off of the rollers, the car was overpowering the dyno. We are going to test again since the new intake, I guess I'll put some weight in the back to keep it stable.
I'm still waitimg on the AIR tubes... My source isn't sure if it's just the flange or it's the flange and tube... things are a bit confusing about it right now. I'll keep working it so we get the parts we need included with the set if asked for.
They also said that there is some confusion in sales so make sure that you reference my name ( Tim ) and that you saw it in the Corvette Forum for the pricing. I've been a PITA enough now that they know my name !
