Well I finally got aroung to installing these wasnt too bad....was fun
I didnt have to relocate the o2 sensors, cleared frame with no problems
But do make sure to put 02''s in prior to bolting up headers, theres not a lot of room it could be done but still do before hand
Kept my stock cats for now just had to do a little cutting
had to remove drvr side valve cover, headers wouldnt clear
had to remove steering shaft, no biggie
Passenger side header slide rite in from top
EGR pipes were not threaded used some nuts on backside for that
Tabs that connct to bell housing underneath are about 1 inch to far back Ive fabed up a new bracket to put in place..
Drvr side header about 5/8 lower than pass side
Other then that the fit is good Im satisfied with them
I think total cost was under $400 . I dont want to speak to soon but no codes yet "knock on wood" heres a few pics from the install[

What are solutions to the hole alignment issue at the bell housing? Are there any weld-free fixes?

What size pipe and clamps do you use to connect to your H pipe?

Thanks

It seems incredible that it would be something that simple but that's all that is needed. The headers will need to be squeezed in no more than 1/8th or so to let the mounting bolt slide into place.

GOOD EYE!

That looks like a very low cost way to mate them to the stock midsection!

So now we now how to solve the tabs being off, many have found it unnecessary to move the O2 bungs and the above method of mating them to the stock exhaust makes this a slam dunk long tube solution for ~$500.

Well I had no codes to begin with, I just finished a 1600 mile road trip to Missouri and I got codes, and also I need to take it to a shop Ive got an exhaust leak so I might have to have some collectors welded on, Im pretty sure the leak is on the inlet to the cats.........I used 3id/3id sections to connect the two pipes, and 3 inch stainless clamps... might just wait and order some high flows. The car really pulls from 3 grand up though. ill post updates, also I fabed up a new bracket to attach the headers to the bell housing just havnt put it in though

Try Torctite 3" wide stainless stepped band clamps. I used them and they seem to seal very well.

Some numbers would be great. I've seen numbers as high as 30 rwhp for LG longtubes. I don't want to spent that kind of $$$$. If i can get close to that with these headers, it will be worth it.

FYI, installed these headers about a month and no problems. All of a sudden my ac is blowing hot air. Took it to the dealer and they diagnose the ac line (I think it's the low pressure) is rubbing against the header causing a hole on the ac line. The dealer wants 600 for the repair (replace the ac line, evacuate and recharge freon). I plan on doing the repair myself. I remember the ac line was close but the insulator would have prevent this.
