Performance package opinions?
They will do the install too. My question is what can be done to my A4 4L60E tranny so it won't snap in half when I get a little frisky?

Just a heads up, but I would NOT drop almost $7000 for what is basically a head/cam package with some minor intake and exhaust components! First off, you are wasting your time and money by installing shorty headers on a C5. Even more so if it has high-flowing heads and an aftermarket cam. Long tubes are the ONLY way to fly in this instance. I see they are keeping your stock cats with this setup and that's ridiculous with a heads/cam car. Your leaving 10 to 15 rwhp on the table right there.
On to the induction side. A Hurricane intake is OK, but nothing special. If you ask 30 guys here you will get 30 different opinions ranging from Honker to Vararam to K&N. What you really don't need are the Mass Airflow Meter and bigger t-body. Why bother if you're gonna keep the stock intake? Upgrade to the LS6 intake and on a heads/cam car you can see true 10 to 12 rwhp gains.
The exhaust after the cats is a problem too. The no-name "Twin Flow" catback is another waste. Pick up a good set of Ti's and be done with it. They have nice polished tips, sound great, pick up a couple of ponies on a C5 and can be had for $500 or less shipped to your door. Since you'll be going long tubes and they come as a set you won't need the weld-in x-pipe supplied in this package.
Do the math....
Heads...................$1500 to $1800
Cam Kit.................$800
LS6 Intake.............$400
ZO6 Ti's.................$500
LG Street lt's..........$995
CAI.......................$350
Underdrive Pulley.....$250
Plugs/Wires............$100
Now that's gonna run you $4895 for all the parts listed above. Factor in another $100 to $200 for miscellaneous gaskets, bolts, small parts, connectors, etc. and another $450 for professional dyno tune. Now you're at a grand total of $5445. That's $1200 less than their Stage IV package with more horsepower to the wheels and enough money left over for you to beef up your tranny at RPM. Think about it....
