Default Heads/cam package...help me.....!!!!!!

Ok I have this cam:
Comp cams 224 - 228 duration 114 LSA .581 intake and .588 exhaust lift.
LS6 heads.......
what should I do.? Im lookign at the PRC heads from Texas speed and sellling my LS6 heads.

Comp cams makes great cams. The 224/228 581/588 with 114 sounds very good and should give you some great gains alone.

Not sure what your intended use is for your car. TSP has some great equipment but the stock LS6 head is a very good head.

a P&P LS6 head with some Comp 921 springs will flow with the best of any the big name heads too.

Take a look over on www.ls1tech.com that is where most of the LSx techies hang out. Heck some of those guys might be able to tell you how much hp&tq you might get even before you buy the equipment.

Dont forget to get a new Timing chain with H & C and the dyno tune to dial it all in.

That's pretty much the exact same setup I'm planning on down the road (I.E. next year or so) so I'm curious as to the thoughts on this myself.

That cam and AFR heads is a good combination.

I've got that cam, see sig for specs, and it's sweet. don't forget a ported LS6 oil pump and an underdrive pulley when you change out the timming chain.
As AU N EGL LS1 is the best place to get info like you're looking for.
