Default does it pay to change headers?

I have a set of TPIS LT headers, high flow cats and Borla stingers already installed, I am having a set of ported LS6 heads and a 220 114 LSA cam added, already have LS6 intake, and ported TB, does it make any sense to change my headers to a different brand/type while I am having the heads changed?

I would say no, unless you just want to speed some more money.

I did it this spring. I needed new heads so after looking at my rusted TPiS Heasders, I went with the new American Racing Headers with high flow cats. The change in sound alone made it worth it. Now I have stainless steel headers and 60 more rwhp to boot. And another bonus is they look graet too.

were your headers coated? mine are and after almost 3 years do not show any rust or other issues, think I will follow the adivce and keep what I have

EMDExpress....You had rusted TPIS headers and changing them to WHATEVER brand increased an additional 60 RWHP??? Plus, I didn't know anyone would've bought a header that wasn't ceramic coated or SS.....

Maybe the rust was robbing all that HP?????
