2001 rings/oil use
Any info on 2001 LS1, mine sometimes uses oil.
Is this a ring or other problem & it is worse or noticible when driving hard. Never is noticible if RPMs are kept lower?????

The rings were changed to the higher pre-tension napier rings in 02. I think Hib Halverson wrote an article on this, try a google and see if you can find his article. If you can't, I have his e-mail and can contact him.
