Best CAI intake (money-no-object): Callaway Honker $500 (relocates MAF to same location as with the C6 MAF)
Best bang for the buck intake: Halltech Stinger $300
Best cat-back: Well, forget HP increase, go for the sound. I'd say the best selling cat-back is the Borla Stingers. That's also what I have and its sound is tough to beat.

OK, here we go, (Flame Suits on?... Good)

Vararam B2 intake, gets the air from outside the car (From the fog lamp cutouts), easy intall.

Cat-Back? I like my Corsa Indy Pace, but a cat-back is for sound NOT Hp. Listen to a few in person and decide for yourself. Pretty much all C5 cat-backs are built the same, just different sound.

Enjoy!

You will get a million different answers here because everyone thinks that there setup is the best.

for the Cat-Back I would go to a few car gatherings and listen to as many cat-backs that you can. From there you should be able to make a decision.

For the Air intake - well I think that comes down to how much money you want to spend and if you want to do the work yourself. for me more money might have meant a few more HPs so I didn't think it was worth it. I also wanted to do the install myself and some of the intakes are really hard to work with.

I used both the Halltech Stinger and the Blackwing. Both are easy to install and both give about the same results. The only reason I changed to the blackwing was because I could do a cool air modification and I felt that cool air was better than the hot ari around the engine.

Save your money and buy a complete exhaust system at once. A set of longtubes will really add some good tq.

I agree with this. I had the Donaldson, the Vararam and the Honker. The Honker wins hands down. For the cat back, the Z06 titanium is a nice light system with a little more sound, the Borla's sound very deep like the 60's.

I'm actually trying to decide between the Honker and the Vararam for my '04 Z06. What did you like better about the Honker vs. Vararam?

For the intake most seen to go with the Blackwing, for exhaust I went with the Corsa Pace car system!
