I am running the Vinci fan controller, there is a small screw that you can use to adjust the temp the fans come on at. I have mine set at 207 on, so it goes off at 201. Works very well and is all pre-wired and plugs right in. Driver's side fan is a bear to unplug though
I wouldn't use the Hypertech, my tuner has told me several times he find people down on power with that unit when they use it. If you are only interested in the fans, the fan switch works great. Both fans come on at the same time and the motor cools down very quickly and runs in a very narrow temperature band.

Got mine from Mid America and love it. Best money spent to cool the vette and its something that actually does work. It also has the adjustment screw on top to set the fans to come on. Get one, you wont regreat it. And ya, the drivers side fan was a pip to disco. But once you get it, the controller is a piece of cake to put in. I was monkeying around taking my time and it took 30min.
I got one from summit, daraile, I believe it was works great, I have a 160 stat also car stays around 170 all the time, even in traffic, it is adjustable, I mounted on the barttery box, and picked up the power and the ground right at the fuse block.
I love it I don't like those high temps, like stock. I used one kind or another in the last two c-4's, without problems,
