Buy a 1.25 amp BATTERY TENDER PLUS float maintenance charger to maintain the battery in top condition during periods of non use.
I had access to the product before they were offered to the public.
Stand by for opposing viewpoints...
INTERSTATE BATTERY also carries the BATTERY TENDER PLUS, price should be about the same.
Do an internet search under "BATTERY TENDER PLUS, DELTRAN CORPORATION" for plenty of information to read in their FAQ section.

The Exide orbital is also an AGM battery, but has a much more durable-looking case. The Exide Marathon has a similarly-designed case with extra material around the posts to prevent cracking in the most vulnerable areas. The Marathon is not an AGM, but is built to keep its battery acid inside instead of on sensitive components under the battery tray.

Another great thing is that because the core is wrapped it can't tree. I don't have to worry about keeping fluid levels topped off and it doesn't leak. Guess where your car's PCM resides.
I'll never buy a standard battery again.
BTW my delco gave no warning whatsoever, it just died dead. Lucky it did take a jump start or it would have been a tow truck.
good luck.
