What brake pads are you guys using for DD C5s. My wife's car needs some new pads, and she doesn't need the super high performance, no fade, etc. etc. since she rearly gets the car over 80mph. (Of course I, on the other hand, have to "test" the mods we've done to it occasionaly, just to see if they still "perform" properly )

I was told by a reputable person with vettes that AC Delco's (Stock) are the only ones that are quiet. I bought some and am installing them tomorrow.

I've used Delco ceramic for years. Not a "high performance" pad but vitually dust free.
Love them!

I think the GM's also come with one new caliper bolt per wheel so you can just remove one bolt, rotate the assembly and then use the new bolt when done. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but that is how I remember it.

Not to steal thread.
I purchased these and no bolt was included. The shims and clips were there but no Bolt? These are the GM Ceramics as well?
Where can I get the 2 bolts, Right & Left.

You can either order them from GM or clean up your old ones and use loctite on them. The only difference with the new bolts is they have a thread locker pre-installed.

If you still have stock-type rotors, you might want to try something other than the OEM pads. Stock rotor + OEM pads = pulsating pedal because of uneven brake pad deposits on the rotors. I got tired of this issue and switched to slotted PowerSlot rotors - never had the problem again.
