3 Inch Cat back
Yes we do. We just did our first back to back dyno run yesterday on our full 3" cat back mufflers. We still have to adjust one of the 3" over the axle pipes to the muffler to make the tips line up straight.
Here is the back to back dyno comparison for a stock titanium muffler compared to our full 3" cat back.
The car is a 2000 C5 FRC with stock LS1 heads, a G5X-3 cam, LG Pro Long Tube Headers, LS6 intake manifold and a stock air bridge and Variram with a K&N filter.
The before number was 413.4rwhp 380.5 rwtq then the after numbers came up to 426.3rwhp 395.8 rwtq.
I will post up photos of the system. Right now it will come in a 4 tip round or 2 tip round.
This is our first prototype so we don't have a full finished product with all the tips. We have a photo of one side at a time, with 2 tips on one side or one tip showing in the photo.
We also have a 3" adapter with flange included to adapt the cat back to a 3" pipe like what comes on our LG Pro Long Tube Headers. This will allow you to adapt to any full 3" rear pipe without any welding etc.
I will keep you posted about when we can start shipping. Should be around Janruary/Feb for the ship date.
(Photos and sound clips coming soon)
Thanks

What's the cost? I'd love to see pics. Basically at this point I am thinking about putting cutouts on the 3" midpipe, cutting off the 3" flange, shrinking the end of the midpipe down to 2.5 inch and running a 2.5 inch exhaust. Maybe even just a Z06 Ti.
When I want the turbos to roar, I'll open up the cut-outs, when I want it to be stealth/quiet, I'll just go through the Ti.
The lack of 3" exhausts in the market right now is really making this an exercise in enginuity.
We also knew that many guys wanted to have 4 tips back there with the 3" system so we gave you the option.
thanks guys.

It’s a completely engineered and flawlessly designed, thoroughly tested system that is manufactured in the USA by Spin Tech (race systems using Dr. Gas licensed technology)
I originally developed the system with Spin Tech, through A&A Corvettes, to exploit and advance performance of large cube and FI combinations. Dyno and track testing completed development and proved significant improvement throughout the RPM and torque bands.
Call Andy at A&A and he can hook you up.

Our pricing will be at or below the current 3" systems on the market and they will be available to not only customers but to dealers, like our LG Pro Long Tube headers.
Of course our system is "flawlessly" designed and it comes with an adapter to slip fit over a header like our LG Pro Long Tubes or to bolt together using the stock 2 bolt flange connection.
Thanks for the interest.

Here's my question then: At the back of the LG Pro header system the pipes look to compress from 3 down to 2 1/2 inches immediately before the flange. Is that posing any kind or restriction, and what is the fix for it when upgrading to the new 3" cat-back short of replacing those pipes?

We will supply every system with 2 ways to install them. First, you could use the 2 bolt flange on the over the top tubes and just bolt them up just as every other cat back bolts up.
OR, you can use our supplied adapter that allows you to cut off your LG Headers just before they neck down to 2.5" and use our supplied "Slip Fit" that will just slide over the LG 3" rear pipe, but still allow you to use the 2 Bolt flange but now, it will be a full 3" inside diameter.
So you can either hook our 3" system up to a totally stock exhaust system or to our LG Pro Long Tubes or other 3" rear pipe system to complete the full 3" system.
Thanks
