Removing Seats
Hi all, is there any info. and pictures showing the removal of seats from a 98c5? I want to shampoo carpet.

4 bolts on each corner, one plug for power controls. Yank out. Its a 15mm socket/wrench for the bolt.
Its harder to change the oil than removing the seats

Its very simple. The only precaution that you need to take will be to make sure that the seat tracks dont scrape any interior stuff. They will leave a NASTY gouge. If it is your first time, get some one to help you guide the seat out from the oposite side.

For me it was easier to remove the plug on the seat and then disconnect. Simply compress the pin with a pair of pliars and push through the hole.

The plug was a PITA to disconnect but the rest is plain sailing.
